windscreen washer

Hi Just joined this site,some very helpfull info on here....

Can anyone help...when I use my windscreen washer my lights go off,which isn't good when I'm driving at night!!! :eek:
Has anyone eles had this problem..??? sorry if this has been asked before,only had the car a couple weeks. :)

thats not good do you have xenons by any chance???

i think its an urgent trip back to the dealer m8.

if they're like mine, they don't go off, they just get such a deluge of water the beam goes dim for a few seconds....previous Seat Leon also did it to a lesser degree, but that didn;t have xenon's

Cars with headlight washers (winter pack and/or xenons) do switch off headlights momentarily if they are washing at the time. I agree it's a bit disconcerting when it first happens! i.e.if your headlights are on and you use the washers it will also wash the headlights on first use , then after every five operations it does the headlights again. Hope this makes sense!

This is what happens. They don't switch off. I don't have xenons.

there is an option....remove the fuse.....
