windscreen washer

Hi Just joined this site,some very helpfull info on here....
Can anyone help...when I use my windscreen washer my lights go off,which isn't good when I'm driving at night!!!
Has anyone eles had this problem..??? sorry if this has been asked before,only had the car a couple weeks.

thats not good do you have xenons by any chance???
i think its an urgent trip back to the dealer m8.

if they're like mine, they don't go off, they just get such a deluge of water the beam goes dim for a few seconds....previous Seat Leon also did it to a lesser degree, but that didn;t have xenon's

Cars with headlight washers (winter pack and/or xenons) do switch off headlights momentarily if they are washing at the time. I agree it's a bit disconcerting when it first happens! i.e.if your headlights are on and you use the washers it will also wash the headlights on first use , then after every five operations it does the headlights again. Hope this makes sense!

This is what happens. They don't switch off. I don't have xenons.

there is an option....remove the fuse.....
