RNS510 Media "System Starting" Error

Wonder if anyone can help here.
The media option was working fine on the unit, playing the iPod no problem. Went into the garden centre when we came back out looking at the unit the Media screen is a nasty browny colour and it says system starting, been like this for best part of an hour.
Everything else, Nav, radio etc all seems to be working fine.
Any thoughts? Thanks
