this was posted on the scirocco register forum in response to a sighting of a new roc and reporting further sightings and made me laugh (i am the only mk3 member)

they're much less likely to be enthusiast-owned than the mk.I/II

think most of us are enthusiasts on here, we may just like our creature comforts a bit more

i will not tarnish all with the same brush as a few old boys on here and have been supportive

when a car has been out of production for nearly 20 years they are mostly owned by enthusiasts aren't they? I guess in the year 2035 most mk3's will be owned by enthusiasts, most mk2 grumblers will just be hacked off cos their hallowed car has been superceded.
