Does anyone know what type of bulb is in the Xenon headlamp? Is it a D1S, D1R, D2R, D2S? Just asking because you can get upgraded Philips ones, quite pricey, but just doing some investigating the now!

If anyone is interested, according to someone with ETKA the bulb is a D1S 35w.

Just out of interest what about the Philips bulbs make them an "upgrade" over the OEM ones? Do you know who makes the OEM ones?

The upgrade ones are a slightly different colour temp, 6000k instead of the standard fitted 4100k. So give better light. Its just a guess, but most the bulbs I've changed on the Roc so far have been Philips, so I would imagine rightly or wrongly, that the HID's are probably philips too. I changed the HID's on my Audi for the 6000k temp and they were a good bit better. But a bulb had gone on it, so I had to get bulbs anyway.
