Scirocco headlight motor problem

Hi everyone,
I have severe headlight problems, constantly, specifically with right headlight. Everything about it is odd. Today I managed to fix the motor being wobbly (it was actually just push and twist to lock it in), but not it wont calibrate when I turn ignition on. Besides, I have right headlight hex nut set to maximum (up) while I have left headlight set to minimum (low) to be somewhat even finally (I measure that by the distance of the lens and edge inside the headlight).
Any tips on why such a difference and why the right motor doesn't work after finally snapping it in? If I take it out, still doesn't work.
