Just showcasing my remapped stage 1 Scirocco I got done this morning.

2016 2.0 TSI R-line Black Edition

Performance mods currently installed:

Induction kit & 3" 200 Cell sport cat downpipe into a straight pipe exhaust system.

I got the gearbox mapped along with the ECU so everything feels so much better.

Honestly can't believe how much this car is hindered coming out of the factory the way it is stock and now compared to what a simple remap does to it, night and day difference.

I also got a very subtle crackle map thrown in there, not a big fan of pops n bangs but the crackles are not bad, it only hits when just slightly above the 3k range so it's not obnoxious, but here's me saying not obnoxious when it's fully straight piped eh... haha

Most cars are far more capable than when they come out of the factory, they are heavily restricted to comply with laws and emissions requirements. Definitely a good idea to have the gearbox mapped as well, it makes a huge difference. I am in agreement as to the pops and bangs. It works on some cars but other cars sound so ridiculous. I do like a nice deep rumbled myself though! Sounds like you are very happy with the outcome as well which was exactly what you were looking for to big thumbs up mate

Oh most definitely, it's criminal what they do to lock the car down. But yeah overall pretty happy.
