Apple CarPlay microphone not working

Hey guys
I’ve got a 2018 scirocco GT and I’m having a bit of an issue with CarPlay. It works absolutely fine, other than the microphone not working. I cannot use Siri and when somebody calls me, they can’t hear me.
If I get a phone call just using Bluetooth, and not CarPlay, they can hear me fine so it doesn’t seem to be a hardware issue.
If anyone knows a solution for this I’d appreciate it!
