Reverse parking sensor installation, help

I just purchased my wife a Scirocco but it doesn't have reverse sensors.
I was wondering if anyone has a set instructions on how to install OEM sensors and connecting it to the head unit?
I've looked at 1K0919475L and 1K8971104AA but not too sure how to wire everything up.
Or is the only option to install the 1K0054630B kit?
I've seen a few forums and videos but they are vague at best.
