2008 2.0 tsi aircon pump

Hi guys can anyone tell me if the 2.0 tsi engine aircon pump uses a clutch like the 2.0 tdi as my air-con has stopped working again and showing no errors ( had this similar thing happen to my old Tiguan 2.0 tdi) and the clutch pulley was the issue with that
