DCC shock absorber

Hello I'm getting a knocking noise from the rear passenger side on my car. So far I have changed drop link arms, arb bushes, top mounts & what was left of the bump stops but I still have that noise!?
When I was doing the bump stops & top mounts I did noticed that the shocks can be easily compressed & don't rebound but as I am new to this DCC suspension I didn't know if it needs a power supply or if they act like a normal shock absorber & because they are close to £400 for the rear shocks I didn't want to just throw more money at it and find out I was wrong for the 5th time lol.
I did also noticed that the rear drivers coil spring end coil was snapped so obviously going to replace those at the same time are there any recommendations for a good aftermarket spring set?
