2016 GTS 2.0 tsi, Central locking and burning oil

2016 gts 2.0 tsi
Noticed car to be burning oil the dipstick was just on the mark when i checked, Not aware of any white smoke etc any reason this would happen or things i can check??
Also
When activating the remote central locking the passengers door does not lock, its sounds as if its engaging and locking but it doe'nt again any ideas thoughts things to check.

Ps - only done 44K milage but did sit with little use for 6 months wondering if its carbon related build up
