First time Scirocco owner questions and red SI letters?

Hi all,
I bought earlier this year a 12 plate VW Scirocco 2.0 GT 210 bhp, manual gearbox. Its great I love it. It had 58k miles on it and a full VW service history. The only things I've done to it is fit new brakes all round as the previous owner really didn't take any care about them (the fronts were warped and I think at some point they fitted the wrong size pads as the wear on the discs was uneven) and I've fitted a new sachs clutch and dual mass flywheel as after 1000 miles of driving it the clutch started to slip. On further inspection the flywheel had loads of play and the clutch plate lining was nearly down to the metal so I'm guessing the previous owners were riding the clutch a lot as they're supposed to last 80k miles. Also read somewhere the original clutch design was updated at some point. So getting the new sachs clutch was a no brainer. If anyone can confirm this that would be great.
Next question is on the boot the 2.0 TSI badge, the S and I are red. Is this because its the GT model as I've seen other 2.0 sciroccos with it all in silver. And yes I know some of you will say it looks better debadged but I'm not going into that.
Many thanks
