Scirocco Central

Hi, sorry if this question has been brought up before but I just can't seem to get a definitive answer.
I have been looking online to get a new high level brake light (preferably smoked) and the price of them seems to be unnecessarily expensive with prices ranging from £60 to £95. However the MKV golf light is only £25 to £40.
So my question is does the MKV golf 3rd brake light fit the MK3 scirocco? I have seen a few ebay listings say they fit both but not enough to be confident.
I have a 2008 scirocco GT 2.0 tsi FYI.
