Scirocco window regulator advice

Post by arutledge732 »

Hi everyone, new on here looking some advice!

My window regulator has broke and have got a new one came today just wondering does anyone have a guide to doing this job?

Have done it on both my previous mk5 golf and mk6 golf but the scirocco i imagine would be slightly different?

Any help much appreciated!

I doubt very much it will be different to the MK5 and MK6 Golfs that you've already done as the Scirocco is fundamentally the same car.

I have recently stripped mine down a few times nothing to it really I am however having some issues with the window not lining up correctly when going to close position. Just be careful when attaching the motor and the regulator unwinding its a pain in the backside to rewind
