Scirocco Central

Hi there.
I'm a prospective owner, looking at buying a 16 / 17 plate Scirocco R.
Would like to know though, does the car come with Cruise Control as im getting conflicting reports. In addition, is the stereo Android compatible as i note that there is the ability to pair the phone to the head unit.

Well having just bought a 67 plate R;

Cruise is not standard, look for the extra stalk.
Connecting up to Android Auto requires unlocking one of the options on the Media player/Nav. as far as I can tell.

As said above, cruise is not standard but a cost option. You can tell if the car has it by looking at the left hand stalk (indicators) and whether the switches are present at the end. No switches, no cruise.
