Just a bit of advise. My car had V4 Nav database. The latest version was V11. I contacted my local VW dealer (Chester) who informed me they had withdrawn V10 and V11 due to issues with the updates corrupting the Nav units. A such they could not sell me a copy. So if you are buying from else where selling these versions be warned you may have problems.

I decided to buy https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193340795842 and went for V9. At least it's some what closer than I had. It was £30 delivered. Took a while but installed no problem at all.

Hi, I ordered an update via ebay. I rushed it a bit and ordered a ver12, damn. I thought I would try it. Loaded (took ages) but worked perfectly.

Do you guys know that you can download sat nav updates from the VW website ?
I got my last one from there a couple of years ago and works fine.

I can only see updates for the latest systems. I can see anything for the likes of mine which is the RNS315

Do you have a link?
