Scirocco Central

Is it safe to use transmission fluid G 052171A2, instead of G 052512A2, in a MQ250 (KWB) 6-speed manual gearbox?
ETKA says that G 052171A2 is more appropriated to a MQ350 gearbox, but in this web store were I already bought so many parts says I can use it in a KWB gearbox (see Important notes: Transmission specifications).

For example in a VW Touran of the same year (2010), the gearbox is the same (MQ250) KWB 6-speed manual, and uses transmission fluid G 052171A2.

I've used good quality 75w90 gearbox oil a few times. It's a 02Q 6 speed manual gearbox sire that would be ok for you too. But check the compatibility first.

Your Scirocco is a GT 2.0 TSI with a MQ350 gearbox, right?
If it is, there´s no problem for you to use transmission fluid G 052171A2, but mine is a 1.4 TSI 160 with a MQ250 gearbox, and I don´t know for sure if I can use the same one.
There are a few VW models that uses G 052171A2 in MQ250 gearboxes, so, that´s my doubt...?

My car is a 2.0 tsi (2010) and the gearbox is known as 02Q, I'm not sure if the newer Scirocco uses the gearbox you mentioned.

I would say you're gearbox can use 75w90. If in doubt ask a VW specialist garage or contact a VAG parts website they will know best.

Mine is a 02S gearbox.
I'll ask in the oficial VW dealer.
