Angle sensor 2 for Throttle

Angle sensor 2 for Throttle

So over the last month or so I've been having a little problem with the EPC light coming on and going into limp mode. I finally got round the getting it plugged in which read ' 00545 Angle sensor 2 for Throttle (G188): Implausible Signal p02 - intermittent'

Has anyone had this before and what did they do I've taken off the connectors and put them back. I read that if its G188 its not a problem with the wires is this right?

Been looking on the net and there are a few things suggested as solution but wanted to know if anyone on here had this problem and fixed it?
