Wing Mirror Damage Help

Post by Sargent88 »

Hi
I was hoping for some help or tips about my Wing mirror driver side. Some idiot got very close yesterday and ripped it off going the other way down a country lane. There were too many cars passing to see who had done it.

So basically the black cover and the indicator strip have gone. Heated mirror still works and I can still adjust on the knob inside the car. Just missing the casing.

I don't suppose anyone on here has a cheaper solution rather than a whole new Wing mirror?

Cheers.

Sounds like you're only going to need 2 parts:

Turn Signal Indicator (Includes the lower housing) @ ~£23
3C8 949 102 D (For cars without lights under the mirror)
-OR-
3C8 949 102 E (For cars with lights under the mirror)

Mirror Cap @ ~£25 excl paint.
3c8 857 537

The Mirror cap is supplied in grey primer and will need to be painted to match your car, it may be cheaper looking for a used one on eBay.

Cheers

I've had to order the indicator strip as well but the bottom half is ok along with the mirror. Just looking for a local body shop now to paint this cap for me.
