Scirocco Central

hi all. just joined in the hope of a scirocco r in a few weeks.
i intend to trade in my fiesta st 2013 to part finance the swap ?
i have been undecided on which set up to get. either the ford rs or the scirocco r ?
i have always had fords but never thought about going away from fords etc
having spoken to afew pals and people in the know, they tell me there have been issues with the scirocco engines ?
and that vwwagon will not cover the issue with the engine under warranty. basically saying vwagon do not think ther is a problem ?
hope someone can advise in this issue or maybe no issue etc. it does push me towards the RS if there is a problem.
but the scirocco looks swell and i hope to confirm ownership soon ?

Scirocco R uses the older EA113 engine, which is very reliable and does not suffer the issues that are reported on the 1.4 twincharger and the EA888 engines that other models of Sciroccos use.

Ford - 5 door, Scirocco - 3 door. Decision made. Ford - manual gearbox only, Scirocco - DSG option. Decision made again.

Mind you asking the question on here what answer do you expect?
