Hi

I have a problem with something on my car and can't put my finger on what the hell it could be, it's hard to explain but I'll try, right everytime I pull off in my car n have my steering full lock to the right or left it makes one clunking type noise only does it when I've fully stopped and when the steering is full lock either side.

Anyone else had this before and solved what it was?

Thanks
Marc

If it never does it whilst driving, then it's probably not your CV joints.

One thing it could be is the subframe shifting around - a common problem on anything based on the Golf mk5/mk6 platform (such as the scirocco is)......Get your subframe bolts tightened up - primarily the 4 largest bolts (2 at the back, 2 at the front).
I have had similar issues before with my golf mk5, and like you found it did it on full lock when moving off or reversing

I can hear the same "Click" sound when turning the wheel when fully locked....
