R DSG Upshift Click/Clunk

Noticed a click/clunk coming from my 2013 R DSG on the upshift from 2nd to 3rd. This happens 95% of 2nd to 3rd upshifts but never any other upshift/downshifts. Noise is most noticeable when you are taking it easy.
Is this standard for a DSG/R DSG?
Is this likely to be from the DSG or is it a feature of the exhaust flapper changing position as it does seem to come from the back of car?
It's been in to the dealer under warranty who did a software update on the DSG and then told me to 'try and see how it gets on' as noise was still present.
