Dab antenna ?

Hi I have a 60 plate scirocco r and was wondering if this is the dab antenna ?

As my 510 rcd unit doesn't have the dab button.

Yes, that's a DAB antenna. Although as you say your unit doesn't have DAB so perhaps someone had a different unit retrofitted before you bought the car, and they took it out to put the original non DAB unit back in.

Interesting , so if I buy the 510 rns dab it's plugs straight at the back ?

Yes, as long as they left the wire in and didn't cut it off when they de installed it. However, you'll still need a GPS antenna for the sat nav to work. Then it'll need some coding doing as well.

I went for the rns 510 led + dab as I managed to get it for a bargain ! Yh the dab cable was there also managed to find out some fun facts about the car which VW didn't mentioned such as the car had a full sub and sound system , and has JL audio speaks all round.
