Hi guys.
My car has developed a clatter sound at low revs when in either 5th or 6th gear in all modes (D, S and M) and it sounds like the tappets did on older cars. Its been back to the dealers twice now, and they cant find anything wrong - they've checked for loose parts and trims and nothing. The sound happens between 1000 and 1600 revs on light acceleration. It doesn't do it in idle when revved to the driving revs.
Its driving me absolutely mad and I am thinking I am hearing things now....... does anyone else have this, or am i going paranoid....?
