Vw rang today saying my car is now coming upto being due for a service. When I bought the car new I also got offered the 3 year service plan for £150 instead of £299. £50 a service I thought cant complain at that. Now im just wondering what will this service consist of?

Oil, oil filter.and pollen filter and a few checks assuming it's on time and distance regime which I guess it must be with the service plan as it's a requirement as it expires at 36k miles / 36 months. If ir's on Longlife regime you won't get 3 services.
1st 10k / 12 mths - oil, oil filter and some checks
2nd 20k / 24 mths - oil, oil filter, pollen filter and some checks
3rd 30k / 36 mths - oil, oil filter, brake fluid, plus some more checks
I too had the service plan for my first 3 services:-)
Fuel filter gets changed at 40k / 48mths
Air filter gets changed at.60k / 72 mths
Cambelt at 60 months

I knew you would pop up with the answers bob
Cheers mate. So they don't replace the air filter at no point during the 3 years then?

Nope.
First 3 years servicing is designed to be minimal to make the car attractive to.lease companies by keeping maintenance costs to a minimum during that period.
