FISCON Plus works fine, only the actual phone button on steeringwheel does not work.

Parrot do a couple of units that work with the radio / spekaers and seem easy to install.
They also do an interface that will work with the buttons on the steering wheel. But the wiring for the interface looks tricky and is prbably best left to an experienced fitter.

I have fitted a Fiscon unit today. Everything works, including the phone button on steering wheel. Brilliant system, easy to fit. If you buy a Scirocco, buy a Fiscon unit.

You seem to be the only guy with a Fiscon kit that has the Phone button on the steering wheel working. A couple of the other lads with Fiscons have all the other steering wheel buttons functioning but not the phone button? did you install the Fiscon kit yourself? Did you have to code anything with Vagcom? Do you have the details of which software revision your Fiscon kit is using? What does the Phone button on the wheel do?

Sorry for all the questions, but your answers could be very helpful to others with the kit. I plan on getting the Fiscon kit myself sometime in the future.

I Installed the Fiscon unit myself. I have not had to code anything with Vag-com. The phone button definately works. It Answers a incoming call and when pressed again ends the call. I guess this is what its supposed to do?

Just to be sure; Is that a FISCON Plus? And are you talking about the steering wheel button with a phone icon?

Just to be 100% clear. Fiscon Plus and Button on Steering wheel with Phone Icon works!
I was very surprised it works too! after reading all posts on scirocco central, guess Fiscon must have changed something!
I do have Sat Nav, I wonder if that makes a difference? Anyone know?

Steering wheel button works fine on mine to. It is only used to answer/reject calls tho... need to use the menu (on the touch screen or MFD) for everything else.

Just out of interest where did you get your kit fitted, did VW do it?

Looks like the mainboard has been updated to 1.67 and the "phone button" works - I have mainboard version 1.50 and I have to use the "OK" button.

No issues with the OK button though!

Maybe I will return it to Fiscon for a update at some point!

This is bloody brilliant, better than my current phone stuck to the dash setup.

ts great... but not cheap! I love the add on that uses the MDI to display info from the diagnositcs system (Oil temp, water temp, voltage, boost, revs, fuel).

Thanks for the info, i am in Staffs so i am not that far from that fitter.

Where did they put the Microphone?

Mic in on the a piller as most aftermarket kits.
