SWMBO got me one of these for christmas and its nice and tactile and nicer than the GTI one

I agree, but I guess the Scirocco was in inspired by a Golf! Not so keen on the standard gear knob myself but not sure what to replace it with, quite like the Golf V GTI one.
Shooms loves his knob, thats the main thing anyway

I'm not sure if it will fit... but the S3 gearknob suits the leather on the steering wheel and handbreak...

I changed mine. It is from a Mk5 R32. Takes about 5 minutes to complete as well. Details are in the Roccopedia.

allready changed mine to the new audi a4 s line one, 6 speed so it matches and looks great
also moved the suspension button across as it was annoying where it was

Aha. I saw one of those before i got the R32 one but thought it would be too much of a faff to fit as it looked like the gaiter surround was different to the Scirocco.
I suppose you are going to tell me it was a piece of p*** to fit as well

no, it was a bit of a pain to seperate he gear knob from the gater ect, but not too bad thou
