Alright folks, had the Roc a few weeks now,
not planning a lot to do in fairness but thought I'd do a thread to document the bits and bobs I do.
The car:
First thing I did was a fit Yetti tailpipe covers:
Chuffed with them to be fair.
Next was bulbs, I went for led side lights, white dipped beams and some blue tinted 501s for the number plate lights (look nice and white)
Here's a sidelight comparison:
And some random ones of the lights:
Then all of a sudden.. nightmare
Turns out removing the unit wasn't that hard, thank god
Also, this amused me:
Will update as I go along.

Right so a few bits and bobs done today.
Pressed/private plates and holders on:
Think the back one needs to come down about an inch:
Also did the pedals today :
I dunno why people moan bout it being a hard job it took me almost 5 whole minutes :o
Gave it a wee wash too, quite like this photo:
On another note, I took autoglym bumper care to the pedals I took off and was pretty impressed
Thats all for today

no pics though.
Met StuartyBoy from here (top fella) for some VCDS action.
Got the DRLs deactivated, needle sweep, door unlock changed and alarm beep. Well happy with it.
Needle sweep is awesome, I'm such a child.

It is cool lol, we are all sad that we are excited by it lol.
To activate it you need to hook up the car to vagcom (not sure what level your understanding is) but it's software and a cable that you can tinker with computer controlled things, you'll need to find someone who has it or buy one yourself (not cheap) luckily I found a dude on here who was more than happy to help. There's a forum section dedicated to vagcom. Called VCDS.

Thanks for the help mate, my mate is a wiz with vagcom so it's prob worth getting him to plug it in and see what other wonderful things he can do

They are mk6 golf pedals, the bulbs are 5 led canbus safe ones. Sorry for the rediculously late reply lol

So after not doing very much it has all kicked off again
No photos in the process but I fitted covered cup holder, smokers pack, mk7 gear knob, steering wheel controls and had cruise control fitted
More to come
