Annoying rattle at low revs

Post by Mltyson89 »

Hi lads iv noticed a really annoying rattle in the car at 1500rpm. It happens in all gears and is really starting to do my nut in, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem & what they done to rectify it??
Thanks Max

There are a number of things to try:

Pad out where bonnet stay rests at the front of the engine bay
Pad out the glasses holder in the middle of the car next to the interior lights
Pad out the gap between the front suspension strut and the plastic scuttle panel

Check tailgate is actually closed and that the parcel shelf hinges are fully pushed into their slots.
Check anything loose in the spare wheel area. The rear seat locks aren't the tightest of fits either.
