Both seatwarmers not working?

Hello
Since now it´s wintertime I suddenly noticed that both seatwarmers don´t work. I presume its a blown fuse. But what fuse? I have checked all inside by the driverside door.

Fuse 37 in the side of the dash, green 30 amps.

for the seat heaters to work you need to be sitting in the seats. they won't switch on if nobody is sitting on them.
Seat heating fuse is SC37 (30A)
seat heating recognition fuse is SC4 (5A)

Yeah I know about the pressure switch, but that would also tell the seatbelt alarm that someone is sitting in the seat, and that works. I´ll check both to be sure. Thanks!

Hmm, there isn´t a fuse in the 37 spot! That is weird!

Yes, strange?? Either the green 30 amp fuse has been taken out or fallen out. The fuses are always the ones above from 2008 upto today.

The yellow ones are 20 and the green 30. I don´t know why it would be missing. Maybe Vw have done something last time it was in. The seatwarmers worked in march
I´ll get a new fuse and stick it in there!

Well there is something not correct with the fuses in that photo. One of the green 30amp fuses is out of position!

Haha yeah definitely cold!
No idea, I haven´t messed much in there. I suspect a Vw mechanic. Had the car in for a faulty window lift. So maybe they did something!
Really happy that it was so easy to fix!

Glad to hear!
They may have become confused with fuse positions as the Windows are on Fuse 23 and that is also a green 30amp fuse!
