Rewiring Overhead Mic

I have upgraded from the RCD 510 to the RNS 510, my car already has factory fitted Bluetooth.
Can anyone give me a basic guide to determine if my mic located in the overhead compartment is connected directly to my Bluetooth module.
Also, could you tell me how I can reconfigure this so the mic is connected to the RNS 510 first then onto the Bluetooth module. Would I require any parts to complete this?
