Hi all,

There may be a topic similar to this already but i just wanted to post and get feedback and advice on what i could do to mod my scirocco.

Bare in mind im only 19 so not doing anything with engine modding.

Car is currently on a PCP so they are abit fussy on what and what not you do to the car.

Is there any advice on anything i can do to my car?

Thanks

R

Well all depending on the leasing company but interior mods could be piano black trim or RNS510 sat nav upgrade. Fitting Bluetooth or cruise, it's quite hard really without knowing what yov've already got but more importantly what your PCP company will allow.

I've only got the 18" Interlagos at the moment, I wanted to get them in Gloss black but that wasn't approved. Window tints were on the other hand but had to be removed just before the 3yr period was up.

Im looking to do some exterior stuff mate...

Sometimes they will usually let you do reversible mods if you tell them and insure for them etc.

So you could in theory do the gloss black rims, but you'd have to put them back as they were when you return the car (so you'd have to buy the rims/tyres and keep the original ones in storage). Very expensive :eyepop:

But each leasing co is different so..

Yep i'd have to buy a set of inters, get them in gloss black, expensive job. I've booked my car in for this afternoon for the b-pillar back tints so thats one thing.

Anymore suggestions guys...?

LED number plate lights also,

Update: No longer standard :D . Tints have been done. Shade was 20% Called Midnight. Really happy with the finish. Just got to wait for it to settle in and dry now.

Mine's on PCP, I've doen a fair few mods to it, all reversible and all declared on the insurance.

I'm just coming up to trade in now, the salesman said as long as it goes back to standard he's happy. He's also allowing me to swap the wheels off the new one onto mine seeing as I had to sell my interlagos.

To what extent did you have to tell your insurance?

Even for a change of light bulbs? Did they put your insurance up at all?

As above, everything except badges, the tinting film I used on my indicators and the fact I removed my rear wiper.

You need to declare every change made to the vehicle from when it left the factory.
