Warning lights after battery removed

So I have a minor problem, while doing a good deed, I swapped my battery to help someone out. The problem I have on reconnection is that the ESP light, tyre pressure and steering wheel symbol light stay on, also the one touch electric window feature does not work, I have to hold the button. Any ideas on what I have upset and how to solve it or is it a dealer fix?. Its a six month old 2.0 tdi 170 GT.

Just go for a quick spin and the lights will go out after a few minutes as the ECU resets itself. As for the windows ,just hold the switch to get fully down and release and the same up and it'll reset itself.
Scary the first time it happens isn't it!!

VW - The correct way wrote:
After the battery has been connected and ignition is switched on, the warning lamp for stabilisation programme, TCS/ ESP will light up permanently. The warning lamp will go out automatically when the vehicle is driven at 15 to 20 km/h in a straight line. This has the effect of reactivating the steering angle sender -G85-.
Simples.
