Windows half open!!!!

Hi,

Had my car one month now. Only 900 miles on the clock.

I came down at 7 this morning to go to work only to find both windows were half open :? . It has rained so both door insides and both seats are soaked!!!!

I towelled them down as much as possible and drove to work with heated seats and heater blowers on max. It has dried out ok but the car is so damp inside now.

What could have caused this? The keys have been hanging up so i cant imagine they have been pressed to open the windows!!

I am going to call VW to get my wipers sorted anyway. If the seats are stained, i am going to ask them to replace them both.

do you know if you hold down the unlock key (few seconds) the windows will come down, when you are outside of car. Maybe you accidently had button pressed?

just booked it in (cant get it done until the 7th!!). Now i am really worried about this happening again. it just started raining here and i went out from work to the carpark to check!!

Some are saying this may be an ignition problem. I will mention this to the service guys. If the seats are water stained, what are the chances of me getting the replaced?

No faults found. Althought they have managed to put plenty of swirls in the paintwork despite being told not to wash the car!
