So what do we think of the colour choices then?

I'm not a huge fan of the Candy white but I think it will sell well.
The red and blues look great. I think Rising blue is used on one of the press cars that the magazines have had and looks brilliant.
Black is usually good on a car and the dark grey looks nice from a movie I saw of Geneva (I think).
Viper green is an acquired taste but I can see it being popular.
Sumatra looks a bit rubbish. It's like a metallic brown. Yuk.
The silvers are, well, silver. I think silver is a good colour in the showroom but soon looks dull in the real world.

The only two on the list that really grabbed me were the red and rising blue.

I've wanted a blue car for ages but circumstances and the fact the puma didn't come in blue ;) meant I've had dark red and silver for my last two. So I think it will have to be blue this time.

I've got a good friend who would leap at the viper green though. He loves odd but loud colours!

the vw configerator is not the greatest for showing off colours especially the sumatra, my dealer are awaiting their demo in this colour and the swatch i saw looks nothing like that

i've gone for the rising blue (due to press coverage) it is a real grower and unusual in the current climate of whites, silver and grey, i think it will stand out in the crowd, the salsa red does not look like the metallic on the geneva cars which is a pitty as i love the look of those especailly with the rear lights

i'm told i can change order colour for a month so waiting to see the sumatra which I am told looks similar to audi lava grey on my A3 (so will show up all marks and chips)

have to say i like the candy white, but seeing andy's post about the configurator, i'm hoping it doesnt look too messed up in the flesh.
