Just called the dealers my car is stuck at the docks in Germany getting a bit p..... Off, they have told me another 10 days

Dealer called this afternoon, it's arrived in the UK today (order tracker doesn't reflect that yet), told to expect to have it within 10-14 days, fingers crossed! Didn't order too many options so hope they aren't missed.

Wow 10-14 days wait and you live in mainland UK. Those lads need to step it up

Hopefully quicker, has to clear customs, fit into the transport 'plan' then make it's way down to the midlands. IMHO I'd drive to Grimsby and pick it up

Will be picking mine up next week sometime.

My VW dealer sent me a video of it being unloaded off the truck in a personal message. Nice touch. Will collect Monday/Tuesday

Dealer called this morning to say they have my car and can pick it up from Thursday, unfortunately it will have to be last thing Friday after work but excited is an understatement.

Order tracker is useless and is still showing in transit from the factory despite it being in the UK a week

To re-cap, from an order placed first week of September with an estimated build week 45 and delivery mid December, to being built week 42 and driven away 7th November, just hope it's the right car with the right extras now!

Just looked at my tracker and it's saying arrived in UK and not yet with dealer. Yet the car is sat in my drive, even though it is missing a few bits. Just hope their second attempt at building it is slightly better.

Picking it up tomorrow - exactly 12 weeks from order.

Tremendous! 48 Hours and I will have picked mine up and promptly dropped it into Midland Car Care for detailing and enhancement.

car has arrived at the dealers ,picking it up on sunday tracker still says its in transit

Wow.

Even driving conservatively whilst it's running in, it's amazing.

Recaro seats are truly fantastic.

Only snag is the auxiliary dials light up but don't function so VW are ordering replacements having not been able to isolate the fault.

Also the MFD is the same as the old one and I thought it was suppose to be a new colour display, going to re-read the spec booklet and drop an email to the dealers.

Can't wait to have it detailed next weekend as it's still covered in delivery scribble and plastic wrap ha ha.

Has anyone confirmed if the rear lights will fit pre facelifts?

They're not a straight fit . You'd need the facelift bumper and tailgate too

Picked it up today and I love it the dials on the dash i like a lot ,they improve the inside totally ,
Driving it I don't know why I sold my last scirocco and purchased the mk7 golf .
This is just a great car to drive

jhezz so bumper and boot lid vw would of made more money if they were the same fitment. That's a expensive mod, the lights would of done me.
