What car are you getting next, wigit?
Anyway back to the thread. I spent 10 minutes trying to get into mine this morning thanks to the windows not dropping

I thought I had solved this problem by using the Gummifleg stuff on all the door/window rubbers. I eventually had to result to a cup of lukewarm water to get the window to drop. Then when I got in the car and tried to shut the door the lock wouldn't engage as it had frozen - cue the warm water again. All this and it was only 0 degrees C. However the winter tyres proved their worth this morning - the businees park where my office is was like a skating rink and there were cars slithering about everywhere

Ohh, Golf GTi Edition 35. Very nice. I'm just waiting for a new Golf GTD to be delivered. I've loved my 18 months with the Scirocco but due to a change of circumstances I now need a 5-door car

Took mine to the dealer this-morning for new WHEEL £316.00
Then a brand new tyre £163.00
All thanks to a darn pothole !
Been without it for a few days because I did not feel like using/driving it with that stupid bicycle wheel they call a space saver.

You know you can claim that off the council. Get a snap of the offending pot hole and get down to the council with your bill

How much did you spend on the lights? Just wondering as i'd like to have a go at doing this myself. How many lights did you need and where did you get them from?
Cheers pal

Cleaned 1 million and 2 bird poops off it as I made the rookie error of parking it under a tree that appears to be home to an ostrich

Stopped to help an old guy (old guy, old guy, Jesus wept, I turned 60 this year, what does this make me) who had rear ended a Toyota Landcruiser in his Peugeot 208. It was amazing just how many people just drove around the shunt. Thankfully he wasn't too badly injured, airbags did their job but would have to go to hospital, although the car is a write off. Had a beautiful Cocker Spaniel dog in the back that was also unhurt.
