Hi everyone.
I took the car for the ABS unit softawre update, on May '19. They said they 've done it.
Unfortunately, two weeks ago, and after only 10000km, the lights came on again and three days ago, ABS, ESP and Hill-hold came out of order.
This morning, I took the car back to the authorised service and after they searched for faults they told me that it's more than 2 year after the software update and that the recall is out, so I have to pay for the repair (ABS Control Module change) 1200€!!!!
What should I do now?

I've had similar issue with my abs unit, I removed at the weekend and have sent it off for repair.

No chance I wanted to pay VW over £1000.

I used https://www.ecutesting.com.

Sent it to them, they repaired/refurbished it and it's been fine since. (4 years ago!)
