Much nicer to look at now.
Also prepared the rubber sills for winter. So they won't freeze and cause the windows not to drop.
What did you use on the rubber?

I use this and swear by it.
Since using this my windows have never froze shut.
Treat all the way along the rubber on the outside. Then open door and do the same to the inside where the glass sits against. Then also put some along the top of the glass and shut the door. Let the window go up and repeatedly open and close the door handle so that it lowers etc and gets right up into the sill.
This stuff has saved me from not being able to get into my car a few times.
Use what?

Finally got my front splitter and h&r springs installed. Loving the look. Makes the car look even more aggressive now.

I was giving the wheels their first thorough clean (only had the car 7 weeks...) and noticed a big gaping hole in the nsf arch liner [emoji20]
So good news is with a new arch liner and 90 minutes of wrestling later, it looks a bit better.
Bad news is whilst it was jacked up I realised the two plastic undertrays and a bracket have been obliterated into fragments and the bumper has lovely gouge in it [emoji35] Guessing the previous owner hit a kerb or something. Not a happy bunny!!

Got a free tube of Gummi in a box with some other bits & pieces, free from VW after putting the car in for a £20 winter check.

I spent over 4 hours earlier washing the car. Alloys and bodywork washed, shampoo on bodywork and all purpose cleaner for alloys with a brush. Bodywork and wheels towel dried. Trim gel used on all exterior trim.
