You should be able to get them directly from H&R - Drop them an E-mail, they should be able to post you some
I already sent them an email but they are off and they will back in business tomorrow.

Worth waiting for as you should get them for free.

Have you decided on which turbo to go with yet?

I already have TurboZentrum EFR7163 ready to be fitted back as I had installed it last year before the engine failure. I will put it back but I am planning to go for a larger G30 or G35 turbo and DQ500 conversion. But I should save BULK of money! [emoji1][emoji1]

I just went through you thread again as its been some time youve been working on this project.

If you decided to go for a garret turbo, instead of the GTX3071/67R, look at the g25 660 turbos. New series, supposed to be K04 spool with GTX30 delivery on boost!

It is a continuous project :)
I am thinking of the G30-900 or G35-900

Don’t know if it will fit or not but you can contact TurboZentrum and ask them.
Welcome on board :)

Hi, did send you a message about this but I was looking for some more information about the fuel tank joining & the brackets you bought. I’m in the middle of doing my r32 awd conversion just now

Thanks

Unfortunately I don’t have pics for the tank while welding. You have to cut the Scirocco fuel tank neck and weld it in the Golf R tank neck, and this will need MANY try and error before you reach the right position and dimension.

I wish you the best in your project and let me know if I can help.

This fault appears after installing the iABED TSi Cam Follower Roller Conversion. I tried to install it without replacing the APR HPFP Spring but the car was misfiring then I installed the spring comes with the kit and the car started giving engine brake in the redline (the car stop by itself like you press the brake paddle hardly) and receive this fault!!

Do you have any idea why this happened?

Alien_IROC wrote:Very good! So how have you resolved the ABS problem?
The cluster has to be patched to change from Scirocco to Golf with a golf chassis VIN too then the ABS coded.
I believe that the problem coming from the cluster because it sends the signal that it’s a Scirocco and the ABS can’t accept the AWD that coming from the Scirocco because there is no AWD Scirocco. Once it’s changed to Golf the ABS accepted the coding.

I want to try if changing the cluster itself from FWD to AWD would help and fix it not. I had similar issue with my MKV when I was trying to install a cluster moved out from R32 to my MKV GTI. The ABS didn’t accept coding until I changed the cluster from AWD to FWD.
Hi, I'm new on this site and found this while searching for ways to get my ABS to accept that my scirocco R36 is awd.
How did you solve it? I just ordered a Golf R Cluster but my plane is to use the Premium Cluster from Scirocco.
Did you reflash the EEPROM with new VIN, Power Class and enabled AWD? In that case it might be possible to just use a EEPROM flash from a Golf R?

Hi,
I was busy the last few months planning for the next upgrade step, and I did it!
DQ500, and Nortech G30-900 0.61A/R are completely installed yesterday. I am in the phase of checking the oil, air, etc leaks now; so, I will drive the car for a few days then will back again to the workshop to check them.
I am waiting for TVS Engineering to send the ECU & DSG files this week.
I am running now the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Plumb Back that I was using with the EFR7163, any idea/recommendation for DV to use it with this turbo setup?

link for the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Plumb Back
https://www.turbosmart.com/product/komp ... lumb-back/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks

Quick update..
Decided to back to work on the Rocco, so I gave the engine some shower after doing some leak checks.

Image

Will do data-logging soon to get the proper tuning for fuel pump only before doing the Aquamist WMI.

Nice seeing som update! :D
I'am at the moment putting a DQ500 in my Scirocco R36, to handle the power.

What bit did you change in the EEPROM to change from fwd to awd?

Good luck with the DQ500 in the R36, I heard it is not straight forward.
Regarding the EEPROM, it is done by a friend of mine who is Canada now. I will try to ask him and get back to you.
