So I assume brembo do an 'OE' type pad with wear sensors too? They said it's a normal road pad.

I'm surprised my sensors haven't gone off if they're 90% worn?! When do they actually come on?!

Yes.

Not really an issue anyway the sensors can be looped back on themselves to remove the warning light.
I've not had sensors for 3 years, never had an issue.

Have you actually checked your own brake pads? Take the wheel off to have a proper look.

I don't service my car or take wheels off:/
The car is bad at braking currently and an independent garage said the pads may last the winter maybe not.

VAG technik have replied, they use pagid brakes and are £43 cheaper than awesome who are going to fit brembo pads and discs next week, not sure what to do.
Their alignment system is beissbarth hadn't heard of it but looks just as good as hunter.
VAG technik have better reviews than awesome too hmm

got the brembos braked in:D

I went heavy with it at about 80 miles and got the pads smoking! Which you are not meant to do!

anyway now they are bedded in and feel is much more progressive than OEM. In fact I have only got used to it recently and was a little unnerved like I thought I still had air or water in my brake lines but that has been flushed.

The car definitely stops just there is a bit more modulation at the end of the pedal now.

No squeaking though, pleased:)
