Yet another....

Post by polts23 »

Here's a quickie I took with my cameraphone the day before I picked it up, PDI hadn't been finished but the sales guy brought it around for me to have a look.

Overall (touch wood) my VW purchase experience has been pretty painless, they've kept me informed and delivered the car about 2 weeks earlier than I expected - can't complain! The car is exactly the right spec, prem sills and pedals I purchased were fitted for free and everything was very easy. The only issue was that the iPod lead wasn't in the car, although the USB cable was. I had asked for that to be checked when I went to the showroom the day before I collected, he obviously forgot to check - I didn't. That will follow in the post, free of course. Thanks to this forum I was able to explain that it was included and should have already been present, he couldn't apologise enough and I'm sure it will arrive soon - he wants me to say 'completely satisfied' right?!

The car is incredible, looks so much better than the naff photo above! But it's a dream to drive, I'm having to hold it back as it really wants to go, but I'm determined to run it in. I'll be back with some more pics, I'm a keen amateur photographer, so funnily enough I have some locations lined up to get some snaps - just need a few rest days from work first.

My salsa red rocco looks better in the metal too, the colour is a bit richer and deeper. Enjoy!

Cheers guys. I'm loving the salsa, looks real classy. OYP x2 eh, quite a coincidence out of 3 x 26 letters of the alphabet. I just used my iPhone for the pic, need to get this baby washed and waxed before the formal shots!!

Thanks Andy. It's even better than I had imagined. The attention you get driving it is absolutely incredible, freaks me out a bit to tell you the truth as i usually just like to mind my own business!

The DAB is excellent, crystal clear reception and fantastic sound quality, haven't had a single occasion of interference. I suspect it may take a slight back seat when the iPod lead turns up though
