So nearly had this R!

Post by cirkz »

I ordered an R last June, but got bored of waiting, so cancelled my order and went for a GT instead in October.

I was passing by the dealership on Sunday and decided to pop in. To my absolute suprise, there it was. They had still built the R I ordered and taken delivery of it. It was sitting there in the showroom looking all sexy.

I had to take it for a test drive. I can confirm not only does it look beautiful, but sounds/ drives beautifully.

Is it worth the extra ££££? No not in my opinion, I have decided to stick with my GT as tempting as it is.

Pics attached.

I disagree.

They have the R up for sale at £36K. I paid £25K for my GT.

11K more. :eyepop:

£8ks worth of options were added to the base Roc?

All those options on the GT? Yet it was only £25k??

Yep. My GT is a DSG, it has leather seats, Sat Nav, 19 " upgrades, Bluetooth, Cruise Control (awaiting fitment).

I got a £5K discount because of the fuss I kicked up.

Plus don't forgot VAT has gone up since then.
