Does anyone know if there is a difference in brakes on the 2.0 TSI and the 1.4 TSI 160PS? Are the brakes on the 1.4 less powerfull?
I'm just wondering because I'm planning to get a remap on my 1.4 TSI up to 200+PS and I just want to make sure that my brakes will be able to handle the extra power as good as a 2.0 TSI model.

Re: Brake discs
I'm pretty sure that the only model with different brakes is the r.

Re: Brake discs
Thanks for your reply. Anyway, I'm not planning to put any aftermarket brakes on my car any time soon. I was just wondering if the standard brakes are different depending on the power of the engine. However that would make production more expensive I think so it sounds reasonable to install the same on all models (except R).
