Hi all,
Iv got a manual 1.4 tsi twinchared scirocco n recently after replacing the alternator iv got a high pitched squeak when coming off the clutch pedal n quickly on the accelerator. It happens as soon as u put ur foot on the accelerator and would only last for a second or 2. It doesn't have to be harsh acceleration but it happens in any conditions. Iv asked around and have been told that my clutch is on the go. Still a bit sceptical about this as the clutch doesn't slip. But if it were to be the problem does anyone know of a performance clutch for a 1.4L as i am planning on going to stage 2 or is this just overkill?

It could be the release bearing.
