Hi I have heard mixed reviews regarding supermarket diesel Tesco/Asda/Sainsbury’s etc.. saying it’s cheap for a reason meaning not as good quality compared to shell/BP? Or is it just a myth?
What are everyone’s thoughts?

Re: Supermarket fuel?
I used it for 7 years and 60,000 miles. No problems at all.

Re: Supermarket fuel?
Supermarket fuel should be fine. BP Ultimate (i think) and Shell V-Power often give better fuel economy give and definitely help to increase performance ever so slightly (especially shell) because of the higher octane.
If you can afford the slight extra spend on premium fuel it is worth it atleast every now and then.
But regular fuel should give no issues.

Re: Supermarket fuel?
Hi thank you guys. It’s because on my way to work there is a shell & a BP garage so I can use either. Not going for the premium stuff just the regular stuff like shell fuelsave is it?? And BP regular diesel.
