So I'm needing a new intake manifold, any suggestions (and links to the correct one) to get from?
Looking at previous comments it's cheaper to order from the states, but is this still the case?

Re: Manifold - where to buy?
im guessing your runner flaps have gone?
Mine too. You can order the revised version from vw for about 400ish
RPC do an aftermarket inlet manifold for 620.
You can repair your current one by doing the TSI runner flap delete but the code will need mapping out

Found one selling 280 or 380for two year VW warranty, then labour costs on top.
Quick read on the delete don't think it would really benefit me, i also think I'm using more fuel which if it's a side effect of the delete i don't want.

I just had mine replaced by VW, a brand new one with the cost to supply and fit cost was £538. They initially quoted me £672 supplied and fitted but did me a deal hence reduced price.tyrannosauRoss wrote:Found one selling 280 or 380for two year VW warranty, then labour costs on top.

If your handy with a socket set then its not hard to do yourself. Theres more sensors to unplug than bolts to get the manifold out lol.
Personally if I had to buy a new one id rather get a aftermarket one for a bit more that wont ever break again. Im going to try the runner flap delete though. 100 odd quid and a few hours of my time
