Evening all,
The time has come to upgrade the rocco to something more sensible for a family, currently looking at 14 plate rs4! But have no idea what mine is worth due to its spec and mileage.
It's a 2009 2.0tsi fully loaded with 12500 miles on it.
I'm thinking in the region of 10-12k mark.
What's everyone think?
Cheers, Phil
Am I reading that correctly, only 12,500 miles on an 09?
I thought mine was low, mine is an 09 but on 27K.
Despite that ultra low mileage I still think £10-12K is very optimistic. Assume you would sell privately but in the current market will probably only realise £8,500 - £10K. For a PX another £1,250 or so off those figures.

Haha yes you are, she's not done much. I've had an offer of 10k on px against a rs4.
Just can't value it off ebay due to the mileage and spec!
They are never worth as much as you think sadly.
Yep, it's not done a right lot!

Take the 10k offer and run, but i'm guessing they have the RS4 on at top value and are taking a bit of a hit to give you a warm fuzzy feeling about your trade in (guessing its a main dealer)
Ultra low mileage won't add that much extra value to a £8,000 book value car, it may even put some people off as they will think it has only ever done lots of short journeys, or not had time/mileage to develop any faults yet

I would aim more for 11k, I can see bi-xenons, panoramic sunroof, folding mirrors and an optional body kit just from that picture and they're all sought after optionals.
Plenty of 2009-2010s on Autotrader with more mileage and less optionals for 10k.
I had the B7 RS4, the rear leg room for an estate is minimal but I did have the bucket seats which make this worse. I looked at the B8's and there wasnt much of an improvement. Something to consider if your looking at a proper family sized car, they are a rewarding drive though and sound the tits with an exhaust.
Saying that, anything is an improvement on the rear leg room of a Scirocco though.

Did you have the buckets? I heard the standard seats give more room in the rear somehow. I never sat in the back but anyone that did would always grumble and my daughter was forever kicking the shit out of the backseat the little shit.

Thanks all, I think I'll advertise it for £12000 and at least I've got a bit to play with.
I went for a test drive in a RS4 B8 at the weekend, by heck! They are bloody good to drive and sounds awesome! I know what you're saying with the leg room in the back but it should be a few years before little feet appear (I hope!)
