Hey all
Having issues with my brake pad warning light...
When I changed my pads I accidently snapped one of the connection on the new pad.
I've tried to bridge the connection but the error is still showing. Tried disconnecting the battery but it still won't clear...
Anything else I should be doing?
Anyone know the coding for VCDS to turn it off?
Cheers
Shakey

Have you erased the fault code directly in the control module?
Maybe you can't erase it with an autoscan.
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for that Roy! I haven't got VCDS so will need to take it to someone... garage I spoke to said it wasn't possible to turn off and you just had to simple short the wires on the sensor...

Yes thats another solution but also for this method i think you have to clear the fault code directly in control module 17-instruments.
