Had this fitted by Auto windscreens today and really not happy. Apart from scratching the paint on the pillar it really does not seem a very good fit to me. Also is the rubber trim on the top edge not supposed to lap over the edge of the screen, not the screen being stuck on top of the rubber? You can see its a tight fit against one pillar in the bottom corner but a mile out the other side.

What did Autoglass say when you brought up the issues with them?

Said someone will be in touch but still waiting to hear from them, just wanted reassurance by someone that I was not being unreasonable

Re: REPLACEMENT WINDSCREEN
I had a screen fitted by auto windscreens 2 years ago. However after having issues with them a few years previously on another car, I rang them before fitting and insisted an experienced fitter did the work.
I was there the whole time it was fitted and noticed that the screen was out of line like yours as he fitted it. I pointed this out and he just managed to align it before the bond began to set. You really don't get long to adjust it!!
As for the top of your screen I can't comment as I don't have the pano roof and I think the screen maybe be slightly different. Mine has a folded rubber strip attached to the top of the screen which fits up against the roof edge.
I did find though it had a screen fitted previously with some spacers inserted to bring the top of the screen in line with the roof. The fitter explained that it was this that had probably caused it to crack after being stone chipped. Because there was so much bond holding it in this would allow the screen to move under extremes of temperature. In fact when I saw the crack it was one of the hottest days of the year.
I would imagine yours will need either refitting or another screen. Stand your ground as I wouldn't except what they've done to yours.

Re: REPLACEMENT WINDSCREEN
Coming to fit another next Monday and look at the two scratches they have caused. When driving it there are rattles all over the front screen which were never their before and there is a 1" strip all the way across the bottom of the screen which is like looking through somebody else's glasses. They think it might be a faulty screen but either way still fitted really badly.
